Family Wide Ministries

While Many of our Parish Communities retain their own ministries (such as Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, and Ushers) we have some ministries that are shared and supported by all the Parishes and they are always looking for new members.

Respect Life

Exciting times are ahead as our Pro-Life ministries embark on a new chapter, and we're inviting you to be a part of it! We have begun linking all of our Parishes' Ministries together.  Additionally, we are expanding our efforts to embrace life in all its forms, from conception to natural death. Our ministries plan to extend support to families, and engage in outreach programs for the vulnerable among us. We believe in the sanctity of life at every stage, and your unique gifts and passion can make a significant impact. Join us as we strive to create a community that embodies this message in deeds and word.

Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound

One of our most important ministries is our Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to the homebound among us. This group is led by our very own Sister Frances Clare and she does a wonderful job of coordinating between the five parishes to make sure that everyone in need, has someone that can attend to them.  One of the hardest parts about being homebound is missing that human connection and in this way we can bring the community to those who are unable to be with us.  If you are interested in joining this ministry, there are a few requirements and training that goes along with it, but it is incredibly rewarding.

We are always looking for new members and we hope that you will consider joining us.

Rosary Guild

The Rosary Guild exists to promote devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, especially through the recitation of the rosary. This organization brings women together for social activities that promote friendship through our common faith. With the guidance of the Pastor, this group serves the parish in the care of God’s holy altar, works of charity and fundraising. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the Month from September through May and last approximately two and a half hours.

Holy Name Society

As we begin our journey as a Family of Parishes the St. Amelia Holy Name welcomes the parishioners of St. Christopher’s, St. Francis, St. Jude, and Our Lady of Czestochowa, to the Family. The Holy Name is a confraternity of men dedicated to the Most Holy Name of Jesus. We participate both spiritually and socially. Spiritually, there is a monthly Holy Name Sunday Mass, retreats,
stations of the cross, monthly recitation of the rosary. Socially, serving coffee and doughnuts following monthly Holy Name Sunday following The St. Amelia 8:00 am mass, refreshments after monthly meetings, our annual stag. Family day with the Bisons, and much more.

If you are interested or just curious you are cordially invited to attend our monthly meeting on the first Tuesday of the month. Our meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Amelia school cafeteria.
